ABA therapy designed for your needs

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the science of learning and behavior. We practice ABA with an emphasis on verbal behavior, communication, early intervention — and FUN! We integrate research-based strategies with intense personal attention to provide ABA therapy that’s engaging, flexible, and customized to your child’s needs.

We provide in-home ABA therapy in many locations, as well as center-based ABA services in San Diego, San Jose, Seattle, Houston, Chantilly, Virginia, and Mesa, Arizona.

Focused ABA Services

With Focused ABA, we work with your child to target a specific set of goals using fun, playful activities. Consistency is key in reaching these goals, so we will work with your family to create a personalized treatment plan that can be applied to all aspects of your child’s life, and will track your child’s progress to ensure he or she is hitting each and every target. We usually recommend a minimum of 10-25 hours per week of Focused ABA for a minimum of 6 months. Since every child is unique, we always create a personalized schedule based on their needs.

Comprehensive ABA Services

With Comprehensive ABA, our primary objective is to close the skill gap between your child and his or her peers. This objective may require intervention for multiple developmental skills, such as cognition, communication, social, play, and self-help skills, to name a few. To address all of your child’s developmental challenges, we will create learning targets for each area and combine them into one unique, comprehensive plan to get your child back on track. Depending on your child’s needs, we usually recommend 25-40 hours per week of Comprehensive ABA for a minimum of 2 years. Since every child is unique, we always create a personalized schedule based on their needs.

Areas of Focus

Helping your child reach their full potential begins with early intervention. Research and our extensive experience both show that children who receive appropriate education at key stages of development are more likely to experience positive long-term outcomes, such as gaining essential life skills.

MeBe’s early intervention and learning readiness ABA program is designed for children between the ages of birth to five years old. Our goal is to build strong foundational skills for your child in the areas of communication, social/emotional awareness, play, cognition, self help, and physical development.

In-home ABA sessions take place in the child’s natural home environment and include parent training to empower caregivers with the same therapeutic tools and techniques that our therapists apply in our ABA sessions.

Center-based ABA sessions take place in the MeBe Learning Centers and include individual and group settings in a learning environment similar to a preschool classroom.

Our teams collaborate across disciplines to create a fun, research-based therapy program tailored to your child’s milestones and goals. They can learn to listen and communicate in a play-based environment, breaking down any walls between them and their peers.

Ages five to 17 are full of excitement. It’s a time for your child to discover all the world has to offer, make lifelong friends, and learn vital skills for adulthood. We can help your child make the most of this exciting chapter and reach their fullest potential.

MeBe’s school-aged program helps your child navigate the many stages of growing up and learn the skills needed to thrive at school and home. We evolve with your child, tailoring our program to their changing needs and goals to achieve real, lasting progress.

We always aim to make learning entertaining for your child, whether they’re six or sixteen. Our goal is to help them replace inappropriate behaviors with healthy behaviors, so they can enjoy life with their peers and family.

Regular group interaction, combined with one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, can teach your child to play well with others at school and home—for stronger relationships with their peers and siblings.

We place a special emphasis on the communications skills that are essential to closing any gaps between your child and his or her peers. We use a verbal behavior approach to ABA to develop the specific skills your child needs to communicate and develop meaningful relationships.

We also know that speech and language skills are essential to your child’s development. That’s why our MeBe team includes licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) whose mission is to help children find their voices in a natural, playful, and highly motivating environment. MeBe offers ABA and SLP services in several locations.

By collaborating with local schools and school systems, we are expanding the availability of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our region.

We can work in collaboration with schools to provide direct ABA assessments, services, and training to parents, teachers, and school staff.
